Hello Blog, you old thing. Nice to be back!
Let’s start with a throwback to a beautiful sunny/rainy day in March. When Laura and Josh danced, made funny faces, gave tremendous speeches and looked fabulous while doing so.
I was excited to not only shoot my first big London wedding ( I had only ever done an Elopement in the city before) but also to work with the talented Angela from Italian Eye , who pulls off some dreamy stuff! I knew one thing for sure: It’s going to be fairy-lights galore (and it was)!
It was a joy to shoot in London, around Shoreditch and at the ‘famous’ Islington Town Hall (don’t know if it’s actually famous, but I see so many Insta-weddings happening there!)
And being inside the building in Shoreditch that I have walked past countless times and taken many many MANY pictures of – who knew it is actually an Underground Venue! I didn’t!
We only had 10 minutes to do a little photoshoot (it was cold, it was dark and it was dinner time) But hey, wedding photography is about going with the flow and working with what you have, if I learned anything.
I enjoyed this day so much, I hope you enjoy this recollection!
