The people in front of my lens tend to be the ones going through transformation,  a life shift that shakes up everything they believed to be true.

With that uprooting. deconstructing and rebuilding comes the desire to be witnessed.

A portrait allows you to see yourself and be seen by others.  I will never get tired of being a part of this process.

I'm not passionate about photography. It's what photography does that captivates me: it allows me to get close to people and their stories. It makes me pause, and see magic everywhere. It’s a bridge that connects me to people, to moments, places and experiences.

Why I am a photographer? Truly because I seek belonging and connection. I want to be witnessed, so I witness others.
